Schisandra is a perennial deciduous vines, it tasted sweet, sour, bitter, bitter, salty, therefore, namedfructus schisandrae. Modern pharmacology study shows that Schisandra has a wide range of effects on thecentral nervous system, immune system, digestive system, respiratory system, cardiovascular system,urogenital system. In this study, fresh Schisandra was taken as the raw material through squeezing craft,alcoholic fermentation, acetic fermentation (submerged fermentation) to produce Schisandra wine andSchisandra fruit vinegar. This paper studied the protection of Schisandra fruit vinegar on the liver injuryinduced by carbon tetrachloride in mice and studied the effect of Schisandra fruit vinegar on reducingobesity and blood lipids, and study on the effect of schisandra wine on sleep improvement of mice,providing the basis for the further research and utilization of Schisandrae. The results are presented in thefollowing:1. Study on the effect of schisandra wine on sleep improvement of mice. The result showedthat the sleep time of mice was prolonged obviously, the sleeping rate of mice was increasedobviously, the sleep latency was shorten obviously and there was no indirect sleep-inducingeffect, and no significant effect on body weight of mice. Schisandra wine could improve thesleep of mice as the health food.2. Study on the protection of Schisandra fruit vinegar on the liver injury induced by carbontetrachloride in mice. Research results showed that Schisandra fruit vinegar could decreasethe liver coefficient of mice, prevent hepatomegaly caused by carbon tetrachloride livertoxicity significantly, reduce the activity of alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and aspertateaminotransferase (AST), increase glutathione peroxidase (gsh-px) significantly, reducecontent of the total bilirubin (TBIL) and the malondialdehyde (MDA), at the same timeprotecting the antioxidant enzyme system of liver of mice.3. Study the effect of Schisandra fruit vinegar on reducing obesity and blood lipids.Research results showed that Schisandra fruit vinegar could inhibit the weight gain, fataccumulation, serum triglyceride (TG) and total cholesterol (TC) rise of mice; Significantlylowed arterial stiffness index (AI). Schisandra fruit vinegar could prevent arteriosclerosisinduced by long-term high fat and cholesterol diet.
