Hot stamping technology is an advanced forming technology sheet metal whichcombination of forming and quenching. The strength of the part is the ultra high strength. Itwidely used in car body structure.It realized the lightweight of automobile. The strength ofthe parts depends mainly on the distribution and quantity of the martensite, which theefficiency from austenite transformed into martensite in the forming process.The coolingvelocity and uniform are the important factors which effect the transformation of themartensite. It requires excellent cooling capability for the hot forming die,and the key isdepending on the reasonable cooling structure. From the properties and the set of theprocess parameters are based on the distribution of the temperature for the parts and diefrom the hot stamping. The results of the basic research for the cooling structure of the die,and research on the influence law about the temperature distribution of the hot stampingprocess and the process parameters of the quenching processing, which has importantsignificance for die design and the set of the process parameters in practical engineering.In this paper has done some research on the theory of metal hot plastic deformation,heat transfer,thermal coupling method and the convective heat transfer.By using ABAQUS, research on the quenching processing by transferring thehigh-temperature steel plate form air to die which has cooling structure. It get the influentlaw about the parameter of the die structure and water flowing velocity on the coolingeffect of sheet metal and die. Desined and manufactured the plate die which use forthe basic quenching experiment by the simulation results and practicalexperience.BR1500HS,which is the high strength sheet and produced by Bao steel, asexperiment material quenching experiment to plate die about structure parameter, at thesame time, the experimental results verified the simulate results. Channel part as theresearch object and established the finite element model of hot forming by using Deform.Exploration on coupled thermal-mechanical simulation of hot forming process. Researchon the temperature distribution in the forming process and the temperature changed lawabout sheet and die on different process condition during the quenching process. It get thereasonable process parameters. Finally, designed the channel part hot forming die.
