Ring hammer crusher is widely used in the coke, coal and other medium hard material’s crushing, Ring hammer crusher has high crushing efficiency, Repair and maintenance is convenient, the core part is rotor system which in high speed rotation, it will produce a certain imbalance phenomenon after long time working, when the unbalance amount to a certain extent will cause vibration intensified and Reduce the working efficiency of crusher, So it has important significance to do rotor dynamics analysis and dynamic balance optimization studies, by which we can get all kinds of dynamic characteristics of rotor and reduce the vibration of it.Based on the rotor system of PCKW ring hammer type crushing machine, the structure characteristics and the working principle of the rotor system was introduced, the lumped mass model of rotor system was established, the basic equations for calculating the rotor dynamics problems were given; The ring hammer crusher rotor machine was reasonably simplified in the finite element software ANSYS, obtained the shaft-quality unit-bearing model, to do a modal analysis on rotor system, the solid model of the rotor and the transfer matrix method is verified by comparing the calculation results of model, the results show that the shaft-quality unit-bearing simplified model is reasonable; The shaft-quality unit-bearing rotor model was used to get the modal analysis results of rotor system in the different bearing stiffness, critical speed and unbalance response analysis have been made in the condition of considering the gyro effect of rotor, the result shows that the rotor belongs to rigid rotor, and all kinds of unbalance response state in the different unbalance condition have been got; According to the dynamic analysis and dynamic balance principle of design, with the principle of the sum and difference of unbalanced force of two dynamic balanced faces is minimal, the optimization mathematical model on hammer arrangement to solve the dynamic balance has been established, genetic algorithm was applied to solve the mathematical model, and the greedy algorithm was used to improve the genetic algorithm, by which the computational speed and accuracy of genetic algorithm have been improved, the ideal result on hammer configuration has been got; finally, a unbalanced response comparison on the force in end plate center and the unbalance response of bearing have been made between the optimization results and before. The results show that the method in this paper can improve the efficiency greatly on hammer arrangement and the imbalance phenomenon of the rotor has been greatly improved.
