Mining rubber-tired vehicle is a kind of mine auxiliary transportation vehicles,mainly used in coal mine transportation of personnel, equipment and materials. There are a variety of rubber-tired vehicles. With the increasement of the hub diameter and load of the mining rubber-tired vehicle, the demands of the front wheel working brake in rubber-tired vehicle are changing accordingly. If we using the traditional design method in the process of the brake design, each series of products should be redesigned, in this case it cause long development cycle, low working efficiency, also need a lot of manpower and material resources. We can’t use the previous design resources, and the design accuracy and efficiency is greatly reduced. So the parameterized design thought is introduced, we use computer aided design software to improve the design efficiency greatly, and shorten the development cycle.This subject research the parametric design of the friction plate,spring and block cover which belong to the front wheel working brake in rubber-tired vehicle. It is continued work of the former parametric design total drawings that belongs to the front wheel working brake in rubber-tired vehicle,also it is a part of the parts parameterized design which belong to the front wheel working brake in rubber-tired vehicle. Using out parameters that obtain from design calculation as the input parameters of the friction plate, spring and block cover to complete the parametric design. This article is built on the parametric technology, based on the secondary development platform EBADS of CAXA, using programming tool Visual C++, combining with Microsoft Access database technology, based on C/C++language.We do some theoretical analysis about the working brake,analyses the structural features of parts. Establish the corresponding parametric model by identifying the parts parameters and topological relationship between the parts graphics. Developed a parametric drawing system, that is deal with the friction,spring and block cover which belong to the front wheel working brake in rubber-tired vehicle, by using programming language. Using this system can finish parts drawing in shorter time. Finally, based on the friction of WC5brake are analyzed by static analysis.
