As the global industrialization deepens, the oil, as one of the most importantresources for human beings, has come into all the aspects of our life. Since recentyears, the environmental detriment caused by marine oil pollution has beenaggravated in China. So far, our country has not yet set up technological system forjudicial expertise on marine oil pollution and lacks feasible multi-variant data analysismethod so that a lot of judicial expertise on oil spill accident cannot reach a scientificconclusion and cannot support processing work after the accident such as accidentclaims. This paper sorts out and integrates three symbolic statistic analysis method of oilfingerprint identification and selects different samples of admiralty fuel oil and marineoil to analyze oil fingerprint diagnostic ratio. By applying three multivariate statisticidentification methods, this paper concludes the identification effects of three methodsand chooses the multi-statistic method for its high efficiency and accurate results inoil fingerprint identification. Besides, this paper chooses Changdao County sea area, the sensitive area of oil spill, as research area and compares the oil fingerprints of seasurface water, sediment and beach oil spill block with that of suspicious oil source. This research has scientific and practical significance in judicial expertise technologyof the marine oil spill accident. Conclusions are drawn as follows:(1)When the repeatability limit method is applied, the multiple diagnostic ratiosof water-oil and oil source samples cannot achieve the repeatability limit requirement, thus it cannot define whether the petroleum hydrocarbon of the samples is inconformance. When the principal component analysis method is applied`, it cannot beaccurate enough, for the variances are too much small. While the clusteringmethodology is applied in this paper, if the clustering is obvious and the Pearsoncorrelation coefficients of the samples are not less than0.99, the conclusion isaccurate.(2)According to the investigation sea area, the surface seawater temprature isfrom16.36℃to18.6℃; PH value is from8.14to8.32; total oil content is from28.58μg/L to70.07μg/L; dissolved oxygen content is from8.49mg/L to9.62mg/L. The total oil content of one station exceeds the second-class seawater standard andother indexes meet the second-class seawater requirement. The oil content of marinesurface sediments is from58.33μg/g to211.93μg/g, which does not exceed thefirst-grade sediment quality standard.(3)The sea surface seawater, sediments, oil spills are respectively analyzed withthe oil fingerprints of suspicious oil spill source CR in repeatability limit method, principal component analysis method and clustering methodology.
