At present, spontaneous combustion of coal related to the sulfur is recognized by most ofscholars, the main effect of coal spontaneous combustion is organic sulfur in the form of pyrite.It has important practical significance to study the effect coal spontaneous combustioncharacteristic parameters.The article study on coal spontaneous combustion mechanism as a starting point,combining with the characteristic of sulfur occurrence in coal spontaneous and pyritemechanism of spontaneous combustion, contrast and analyse multiple sets of experimentaldata to study the influence rules of pyritic sulfur on coal spontaneous combustioncharacteristic parameters from two aspects: oxidability and exothermicity. By the true densitytest experiment, void ratio test, experimenttemperature programmed test experiment,chromatography oxygen experimental and DSC thermal analysis test to get the conclusions ofthat, and is proportional to thermal conductivity and specific heat; the conclusions of that coalmixed with5%-7%pyrite sulfur has the strongest oxidability and exothermicity, itsself-ignition orientation is the largest; different pyrite sulfur content of coal has different amplegas data, among them, coal mixed with5%pyrite sulfur has the largest CO concentration. andthe greater sulfur content in coal, the greater the value of CO2/CO. From the heat transfercharacteristics and oxidation reaction products of the pyrite to analyses the influencemechanism on coal spontaneous combustion, the inhibitory effect sol of Fe(OH)3and thepromoting effect of pyritic self-heatingon coal spontaneous combustion, get the conclusion ofthat pyritic sulfur has promoting and inhibitory effect on coal spontaneous combustion.This paper analyses the influence law of pyritic sulfur on coal spontaneous combustioncharacteristic parameters in low temperature oxidation stage, provides a theoretical basis for the work of fire prevention In the process of high sulfur coal bed mining.
