21century is the century of urbanization, and urban sustainable development is thefoundation and goal of the development of urbanization, the interaction between theurbanization and the ecological environment is the direct impetus to the sustainabledevelopment of the city. Therefore, in the background of the economic globalization, thegeneral goal of sustainable development and construction of ecological city, it is importantto research the coordinated development between urbanization and the ecologicalenvironment for improving the ability of the urban sustainable development.Shijiazhuang is the research object of the article; meanwhile, the main line is thecoordinated development between the urbanization and the ecological environment. Thetheories of sustainable development, ecological city theory and related theories support thearticle; we construct the index system to evaluate the urbanization and the ecologicalenvironment quantificationally. Then by means of grey relation model reveals the timesequence rules of the coordinated development between urbanization and the ecologicalenvironment of Shijiazhuang city objectively, the stress effect of the urbanization act on theecological environment, and the confinement effect of the ecological environment act tourbanization. Then we make a general research on the interaction mechanism betweenurbanization and the ecological environment of Shijiazhuang city, finally construct thehealthy urbanization development mode based on ecological environment, and according tothe quantitative qualitative analysis results to provide countermeasures suggestion andsafeguard measures.
