Abstract/Summary:
With China’s sustained and rapid economic growth, regional atmospheric pollutantemissions significantly increase, worsening air pollution. Therefore, the establishmentof volatile organic compounds (VOCs) emission inventory and studying its emissioncharacteristics has become the important content of gaseous pollutants. Applyingemission factor method, anthropogenic volatile organic compounds are carried out, based on the statistic data of2010year, in-depth study of anthropogenic sources ofVOCs pollution emission levels and industry emissions characteristics, and exploringChina’s anthropogenic sources of VOCs control countermeasures.Based on principles of Classification system of emission sources, this paper buildsfouth-degree anthropogenic emissions classification system, analysis the NationalStatistical Yearbook, industry association statistics and literature research, applyingciting new domestic the experimental and analytical results combined with foreignresearch results to determine the specific values of anthropogenic sources of VOCspollution emissions level of activity data and emission factors, which was constructed ofanthropogenic sources of VOCs industry emissions inventory methodologies.Based on the construction method, this article obtains from anthropogenic sources,VOCs emissions inventory in2010, analysis anthropogenic VOCs emissionscharacteristics and puts forward anthropogenic VOCs pollution control measures. Theemission total amount of2010year VOCs was22.300million tons, in which stationarycombustion source emission5.736million tons, industrial process emission5.463million tons, transport source emission4.800million tons, solvent utilization emission4.666million tons, storage and transport emission1.635million tons. The fiveprovinces with the highest emission amount were Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shandong, Guangdong, Liaoning, where had higher population density in rural and strongerindustry than other provinces accounting for44.47%of tatal emissions. Xizang andQinghai were the province of the lowest emission amount, below0.01million tons. The results of the analysis for the emissions of different region show that: VOCsemissions from anthropogenic sources in the East China region was9.537million tons, followed by Mid-south China region,4.807million tons, North and Northeast Chinaemissions were2.756million tons and2.262million tons respectively, Southwest andNorthwest emissions were1.669million tons and1.387million tons. GDP, industrialGDP and non-biomass burning VOCs emissions show a good linear correlation, theindustrial GDP correlation than GDP slightly better, about0.80.
