Injection industry is a typical order-oriented production industry. Today’s society has entered the era of diversification, in order to improve competitiveness of the products in the market and better meet the diverse needs of consumers, the multi-specification small batch manufacturing becomes more and more popular in injection molding companies. At the same time, due to more varieties of different specifications, and high degree discrete of process, fast change in consumers’ demand, production organization and management of this mode is extremely difficult. How to effectively organize and manage the many resources involved in the injection molding process is a difficult problem that injection enterprises have to deal with.This paper first describes the contents of resources managerment in the injection molding production, and analyzes the business processes of the injection molding enterprise, points out ubiquitous problems of resource management in injection molding production. To solve these problems, combined with the functional model of the MES, design the MES oriented resource management system for injection molding production. The main line of the system is material management, and the system is designed to manage equipment, personnel, tools, and other production resources involved in injection molding production, in order to achieve the purpose of rational distribution of productive resources, and improve production efficiency. MES oriented resource management system for injection molding production mainly involves the management of raw materials, material requirements planning, materials delivery, material tracking. This paper analyzes the factors that build the distribution model based on the time of the injection material, drawing on the inventory control strategy to build a flexible material delivery model to achieve timely delivery of materials. The paper also analyzes the cost composition of injection parts, combines with the data MES collected, discusses the realization of cost calculation for injection parts.Using UML modeling tools, this paper conducts a needs analysis and modeling for the resource management system, and completed the data flow analysis and database design to establish the system.Based on the above research results and the J2EE platform, select SSH as the basic framework of the system, Extjs as the main interface development technology, developed MES oriented resource management system for injection molding production.
