Research Of The Servo Press’ Key Technology Based On PC Control

Machinery manufacturing industry has been our country’s pillar industry. With thedevelopment of the industries like automobile, electronic product, instrument and apparatus, and soon, the demand of the press is getting bigger. Because of the characteristic of the poor flexibility,traditional press will not be able to meet the market’s requirements for more and more diversifiedproduction. In this case, servo press, with the feature of high flexibility and low consumption, hasbecome the key study subject right now.This paper study about the PC based control technology of the servo press, and do someresearch and analysis of three key technologies involved.(1) Servo motion control technology: establish the servo control model, and realizemotion control based on PMAC card. Build the press’ motion model, and analysekinematics from forward and backward. Study about the typical stamping process,and design stamping process curve generation algorithm. Use S-curve algorithm tomake the speed transition smoothly. Then according to this algorithm, aprogramming test based on PMAC has been made.(2) Precision conpensation technology: analyses the influence factors of servo press’precision. Study about the thermal deformation error influence factor in detail. Putforward the thermal error compensation system design scheme, and improve thetemperature monitoring unit involves.(3) Safety and protection technology: introduce the existing protection technologies ofthe servo press. In view of the second fall, which is easy to cause serious accident,some deeper research has been made. To reduce the probability of the second fallaccident, a redundancy type prevention device has been made.
