Environment problems caused the mine are being one of the most important challenges which ourcountry is currently facing,The large-scale development of the mineral resources is inevitable destroy thebalance of the original natural environment,The pollution which is made in the mining may cause seriouspollution for survival environment of the human,The mine geological disasters endanger the people’s lifeand property safety.Hebei province is one of the important economic province in our country, and is also a big miningprovince.The development of the social and economic become so dependent on mining.For a long time,the development of mineral resources have caused varying degrees of damage for the ecologicalenvironment of our province.This paper aims to apply the remote sensing to quantitative survey of thestatus of the mine geological environment for the important ore district. And on this basis,thequantitativeevaluation of the status of the mine geological environment is based on the MAPGIS platform. Toprovide the scientific basis for the development and management of themineral resources and miningenvironmental governance.This article is based on the project which is called "The remote sensing investigation andmonitoring of the mine exploitation in Hebei province" to remote sensing survey the mine geologicalenvironment in Hebei, the scope of the investigation and the area of interpretation area is reached40000km2, at the same, established7survey areas of1∶50000and3survey area of1∶10000.The interpretation of the mining point3345and the mining face16850. To complete the interpretation ofthe remote sensing field test1059points, the long of field survey line is about12600km, investigationand verification of various mining point (face)1583.According to the natural geographical situation, thebasic geological situation,the remote sensing survey in Hebei,to established the assessment subsystemand the evaluation index of the mine geological environment, using the analytic hierarchy process toobtain the weights of subsystems and the weights of evaluation indexes, through the grid method toevaluate the mine geological environment for the study area,and divided each evaluation unit of the minegeological environment into three parts which are the lighter area, the heavier area, the affected area. Theresults show the area of the affected area is17.21km2, accounting for4.13%of the total area of HebeiProvince.The heavier area is l16.55km2, accounting for27.99%of the total area of Hebei Province. Thelighter area is136.61km2, accounting for32.81%of the total area of Hebei Province.And the study showthat the affected area in Hebei is lead-zinc mining area in Dawan of LaiYuan,the lighter area is Ji-nan(Hirayama-Jingxing) coal, limestone ore district.
