The effect of resin finishing on fabrics is very good among the methods of anti-pilling finishing, but it has a serious impact on the feel of fabric. Terpolymer silicone oil as the latest generation modified silicone softener which is environment-friendly.It’s emerging up in recent years,besides it owns excellent properties of ordinary silicone, such as good permeability and thermal stability, lower glass transition temperature etc., it’s smoother and has better low yellowing than the general amino-modified silicone softener.Accordingly, making silicone advantages and polyurethane drawbacks complementary in order to improve the effect of anti-pilling without affecting the feel and style of fabric,silicone and polyurethane copolymer is environmentally and friendly which can meet the needs of consumers and the market demand.It has a potential development.In this paper,firstly,different synthesis process of terblock silicone with different raw materials were discussed and it’s optimal process was obtained according to it’s test result.Polypropylene carbonate diol (PPC), polytetramethylene ether glycolas(PTMEG), polyester diol were choosen as the soft body segment of polyurethane prepolymer material;1,4-dihydroxybenzoic acid (BDO),isophorone diisocyanate the ester (IPDI), as the hard segment; dimethylol propionic acid (DMPA) as the hydrophile extender. Above all of the materials were used to synthesize the polyurethane prepolymer.Making use of the reaction between amino group (-NH2) and isocyanate group (-CNO), polyurethane prepolymer grafted terblock silicone oil, the silicone-modified polyurethane finishing agent solution was prepared. The silicone-modified resin finishing agent was applied to cashmere knitting fabrics, the apparent depth value (K/S),air permeability, moisture permeability, antistatic property, anti-pilling of the fabric were tested;The, to determine the best process conditions have been determined by testing the contact angle and water resistance of the coating,the centrifugal stability and viscosity etc of the copolymer emulsion. Then the finishing agent was characterized by FTIR and AFM, the effect of finishing agent in cashmere fiber surface was presented by SEM.The experimental results show:the optimum synthesis conditions of terblock silicone oil were that the best mass ratio of amino-terminated polyether and epoxy-terminated polyether silicone oil was1:10:5,isopropanol was as solvent, reacting at 80℃for7-8h to synthesis terblock silicone oil which has good physical and chemical stabilities and soft effect. The optimum process of the silicone and polyurethane copolymer was that-NCO/-OH molar ratio is1.4,DMPA usage is2.5%(w/w),silicone oil usage is20%(w/w).Moisture in dihydric alcohol is removed by suction filtration above100℃, the catalyst is added at room temperature, and the reactant is heated to40℃to add IPDI reacting at70℃for1hour,under the same condition DMPA is added, the reaction is continued for1hour.Then BDO is added in the system at80℃for0.5hour.Following,the reaction temperature is lowered to0-5℃, the silicone oil is slowly added to the PUP reacting for1hour, then triethylamine is added to adjust the pH to7-8,reaction was continued for another0.5hour at room temperature. Finally,the reaction syetem is emulsified for1h by water. Compared with the traditional pure resin finishing silicone oil,the anti-pilling effect of the fabric finished by homemade silicone polyurethane copolymers finishing agent has been improved1-2level, and it does not cause obvious color-difference, besides the feel and antistatic property of the cashmere knitted fabric has been improved,the water resistence of the copolymer coating is enhanced.
