Silicone softener has characteristics of wide applicability and outstanding comprehensive finishing effect. It has been widely used in the functional finishing of cashmere fabrics, and can give cashmere fabrics a smooth and soft hand feeling and anti-pilling property.Based on block polyether/amino-modified silicone softener, the development of novel multifunctional silicone softener through collaborative modification has become a research hotspot. However, the traditional preparation of block copolymer silicone oil brings problems such as complex process flow and poor controllability. At the same time,a large amount of low-boiling point organic solvents are required to be used, and resulting in volatile organic compound(VOC)pollution. To solve the above concerns, this subject developed a short-process,low-solvent silicone softener synthesis technology,to prepare low-solvent block copolymer silicone oil through "one-pot method",and obtained modified silicone oil through quaternization and synergistic modification; Then, exploring its application performance on cashmere fabrics. The main research content and results are as follows:(1)Controllable preparation of functional silicone softener.Epoxy-terminated polyether silicone oil was prepared by "one-pot method" under the action of chloroplatinic acid catalyst, which involves using hydrogen-terminated silicone oil and allyl epoxy polyether as raw materials, adding a small amount of isopropanol as solvent; Then, using polyether amine ED-600 and triethanolamine to react with epoxy-terminated polyether silicone oil to synthesize polyether amino block copolymer silicone oil and main chain modified polyether amino block copolymer silicone oil respectively. Finally, the synthesized polyether amino block copolymer silicone oil was reacted with 2,3-epoxypropyl trimethyl ammonium chloride to synthesize side-chain modified polyether amino block copolymer silicone oil.The influence of factors such as the amount of catalyst, reaction time, reaction temperature, and the molar ratio of reactants on the conversion rate was investigated. The results showed that the optimal synthesis process conditions can be obtained by adjusting various parameters. The results of infrared spectroscopy, proton nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy and thermogravimetric analysis verified the structural characteristics and prominent thermal stability of the prepared silicone oil.(2)Preparation of functional silicone softener emulsion.Taking the light transmittance, particle size, and Zeta potential of the emulsion as the main evaluation indicators,to optimize the emulsification scheme of three functional silicone softeners. The results showed that when the amount of emulsifier(AEO-3)used was 35% of the mass of silicone oil,the p H of the glacial acetic acid was adjusted to be neutral, and the emulsification time was 10 min,the prepared emulsion was transparent with blue light and had good stability.(3)Study on the application properties of functional silicone softener.Taking antistatic property, pilling resistance, washable resistance, and relative feel as main evaluation indexes of finished cashmere fabric, the finishing conditions of three different functional silicone softeners were optimized, and the finishing effect of finished cashmere fabric was evaluated. The research results showed that the optimal finishing process conditions of functional silicone softener emulsion on cashmere fabrics include pre-baking temperature 110?,baking temperature 170?,and finishing solution concentration 30g/L.After finishing with three functional silicone softeners, the antistatic performance, washing resistance, pilling resistance, and thermal stability of the cashmere fabric are significantly improved.
