With the increasing in energy crisis,energy for a country’s economic, political, militaryand the influence of national life in increases day by day. Because energy is not only relatedto the strength of a country’s economy and stability of national economic but also related tothe vast number of countries people. Oilfield producted capacity is large, but also energyconsumption is large. With oil mining strength increases, the lack of petroleum resources,increases of the difficulty of mining,we need to improve resource utilization, aim at obtainingthe biggest economic by using the least resources. So we need to research a simple,convenient, efficient and low power consumption of intelligent pumping unit equipment.With maturing of technology of the embedded operating system, it has been widely usedin all aspects of people’s life. Including industry, military industry and life electronic,embedded system in the production and life of people have brought to the life greatlyconvenient. Oil pumping unit manufacturers used embedded technology, electronictechnology, automation technology and communication technology developed a new typepumping unit controller in the oil mining industry, that is RTU. RTU is a remotemeasurement and control unit. It is usually installed in a remote working site, the work isresponsible for the distal work equipment condition monitoring and the field data acquisition,and the collected data storage and processing, at the same time will detect the workingcondition and sent the collected data through the communication network to the monitoringcenter, then, RTU will receive from the monitoring center control command in order to realizethe control of equipment on the spot. RTU determine the working conditions of the pumpingunit by the displacement sensor signal, current sensor signal, load sensing signal, accordingto the collected data automatic control hybridization balance, pumping unit impact times, inorder to achieve the purpose of intelligent control pumping unit, and always running in themost efficient working condition.Based on analysis of the working principle of RTU, we choose dspIC33F chip as themain control chip. Through the chip internal A/D converter and the expansion of the dataacquisition/display module, GPRS wireless communication module, key module, and theagreement configuration module to realize the protocol configuration of RTU device. μ C/OS-Ⅱ embedded dspIC33F, and write the driver and application program, through the systemcalls the hardware realization the target function.This paper introduces in detail the RTU A/D conversion module, data storage module, digital input and output module, display module, power supply module, communicationmodule. Based on the software driver modules and the writing of the realization of softwaresystem call to realize the whole system of data acquisition, analysis, processing, sending andreceiving control command and a series of function. Because different communicationprotocol is different, resource and data can not share,We have proposed a multi ommunicationprotocol configuration program. The specific method is to write a regular set agreement.Target protocol format often set protocol when the need to communicate with a known formathas a different communication protocol device installed on the device, the device on igurationwith which the same protocol to communicate with each other, sharing resources. Finally,through the design and testing of the system, to prove the feasibility of the design originallysubject.
