In today’s era of rapid development, the exercise will become an Indispensablepart of people’s life, and the sports underwear has also become indispensable items forpeople’s fitness. Sports underwear as functional underwear not only facilitates themovement of people, but also can make broad female friend keep a perfect shape,playing a full fitness role. However, today’s fabric comfort of sports underwear is stilla problem. People easily sweat a lot in the process of fitness, and reduce the bodytemperature by evaporation. If the heat accumulating in the clothing microclimate,cannot be quickly eliminated from the body, it will cause people the uncomfortablefeeling as sultriness and prickle. When people stop exercising, sports underwear keepthe wet. The body will feel clammy because of the sweat evaporating away most of theheat. It will cause diseases such as colds for a long time. Therefore, designing theintelligent materials of regulating humidity and temperature—with hygroscopicmoisture permeability and heat retaining property cope s with the cold state andbecomes today’s research trends and hot spots. The intelligent polymer hydro gel is akind of responsive materials according to changes in the external environment. Thisissue has made a good performance of gel core material through certain physical andchemical methods, to attempt to carry on the design and use in sports underwear.(1)The subject confirmed synthesis experiment program of PNIPAM/PVA IPNHydrogels. By using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and SEM scanningelectron microscopy, the internal structure and the surface morphology werecharacterized. The experimental program was confirmed: the concentration of mainmonomer PNIPAM is10wt%, and the dosage of acryl amide (AM) is1.2mmol/mmol,and the dosage of PVA is0.5wt%. The initiator, cross-linker concentration isrespective ly3wt%,3.5wt%, and the pore-forming agent dosage is0.8mol/L. Thepolymerization reaction temperature was set to50℃, and the reaction time was6hours.(2)The subject completed the performance testing experiment of the gel, and itsperformance basically met the comfortable requirements of sports underwear. Atnormal temperatures and pressures, the0.9%saline absorption rate of synthesis gel was18.22g/g, and the gel modulus was1.83MPa. Under the condition of pressure,water retention rate was97.2%within1min, and the0.9%saline absorption rate was1.761g/g.(3)The subject completed the performance testing experime nts of gel corematerial. The test results as follows: the deposition rate of gel in seven kinds of sportsunderwear fabric was different, and the order of their deposition rate was1>4>5>6>7>2>3. The first fabric deposition rate was up to27.4%, and the3rd with lowestdeposition rate of the fabric was22.3%. Experiments also drawn on No.1cotton fabricmoisture regain up to28.67%, but desorption drying rate is lower. Moisture regain ofNo7. Polyester spandex fabric was lower, but this fabric with a higher desorptiondrying rate was up to42.86%. In addition, experiments proved polyester ammonia gelcore material had good elastic recovery performance, and it is advantageous to the gelcompressive strength, the repeated use, and rapid ly absorbing liquid. Therefore, theselection of polyester ammonia gel core material embedded in sports underwear wasmore appropriate.(4)The subjects completed the comfortableness of polyester ammonia gel corematerial sports underwear by the subjective evaluation experiments. The exerciseintensity was simulated by treadmill. Ten comfort evaluation items were selected assweltering feeling, warm and cool feeling, soft feeling, sticky feeling, sense ofpermeability, moist feeling, clammy feeling, oppressive feeling, flexibility, overallcomfort, and the subjective questionnaire was designed. The data was analyzed bySPSS statistical analys is software, and results showed the gel core material underwearimproved sweltering feeling of sports underwear to a certain extent in the process ofexercise, and made people feel more comfortable. Especially in the second stage, theclammy feeling significantly decreased after exercise.This subject combined interpenetrating network gel and sports underwear fabricas core material, and embedded it in sports underwear, to some extent improving thecomfortableness of sports underwear. Using the core material can bring a certainguiding significance and the potential market space for the development of enterprises.
