Research On The Wearability Of High Performance Outdoor Sports Underwear Fabric

In the paper, the wearabilities of high performance sports underwear fabric were studied. First,both the present situation and trend about outdoor sports and outdoor sportswear were discussed,and the different performance requirements of sports underwear fabric on different outdoor activities were analyzed. Second, the wearabilities of about thirty types of typical weft knitted sports underwear fabrics made of moisture absorbing and sweat releasing polyester fiber, regenerated bamboo fiber, modal fiber, cleancool fiber were tested and analyzed , such as moisture absorbing and sweat releasing, stretch and recovery, warmth retention, stiffness and softness, pilling resistance, antistatic property, colour fastness etc, and explored the relationship of the indexs between the method for combination test and the method for moisture management test to simplify the test methods of absorption and quick-drying fabrics. Finally, the methods of condensed mapping and Functional evaluation value were adopted to comprehensively evaluate and analyze their function property in order to optimize the underwear fabric suitable for different kind of outdoor sports, such as hot environment huge exercise , hot environment small exercise, cold environment huge exercise, cold environment small exercise. The research results can provide theory basis and eference in practice for the test, evaluation and optimization of high performance sports underwear fabric.
