The mold is the main technological equipment in today’s industrial production, with conservation of raw materials, low cost of product, high production efficiency and the like. There are many types of molds, among which plastic molds and stamping molds are the most widely used. Despite of various types, but there are a lot of the same or similar characteristics. This design, mainly through the introduction of injection mold, analyses the common features in mold design and contains parametric design and life analysis of injection mold small and medium-sized side core-pulling mechanism. Starting from the technics of products and the structure of concrete molds, through the analysis of the structure and technics of plastic parts, an injection mold with oblique pin side core-pulling mechanism is designed. The mold core-pulling resets by opening and closing mode power, and its structure is simple, but at the same time the working conditions and the work quality of the mold are greatly influenced by its structural parameters, so the choice of parameters must be reasonable in design. This paper treats of how to complete parametric design of mold structure using Pro/E software on the basis of reliable mechanical analysis of this kind of molds, so that these molds will be with a good performance and a longer service life. It is very important value for the mold design and manufacturing.
