In the plastics industry, mold manufacturing technology is widely used molding technique. In the many industries have been fully development, and the development have been recognized by the industry. The studied the gas-assisted injection plastic injection mould design of plastic case. Through a lot of research, the technology of plastic parts have being designed of the system. According to the weight of the plastic parts have being chosen to meet the requirements of injection machine, combined with the existing data to determine the layout of the cavity and the parting surface design. In the process of the mould structure design, through a large number of literature refer to research at first, to the overall scheme of the mould injection molding process has made the detailed design, including the design of gating system, the design of the ejector system and the design of the cooling system, etc.Especially the hot runner technology is introduced in the design of gating system. And then through the comprehensive consideration of the mould structure, to the mold cavity and core,and the size of the other components are calculated, focus on the design of the inclined guide pillar side core-pulling mechanism, and with reference to the structure size of the mould has carried on the overall design. At the end of the design of plastic injection mould of a new technology of gas assisted injection technology is introduced. Through designing the size of the airway and reasonable arrangement of airway position, to timely sovle the defects caused by the lack of experiences in design, Effectively the injection molding process is improved,has had a profound impact for the plastics industry.Through the study of the above design,we can concluded that the research results are as follows:1. Simplify the structure of the mould, especially the point gate hot runner mould be used in the gating system. X-type hot runner manifold is adopted in this design, and four-point balance type into the water is set up, the three plate mould can be simplified to two plate mould, make the mould structure is simple. In the process of moulding the operation is simple,just remove the plastic parts, no runner setting material is removed, not only significantly shorten the moulding cycle, improve the production efficiency, but also to improve the quality of the plastic case.2. The gas-assisted injection molding technology is applied in this design, the technology has played a simplified the mould structure, to reduce the mould cost. By the ProE three-dimensional design software and software Moldflow mould flow analysis, plastic mould design can be optimized, improve the quality of products molding, mold delivery has been shortened, to meet the needs of customers to provide strong technical support.3. In the design of airway adopted two kinds of schemes are compared. Only differ in the number of the airway and arrangement of the first scheme and the second scheme, the second scheme design of the large number of the airway. Through the filling time, finite element model analysis and filling flow morphology of polymer to compare of two kinds of schemes,it is concluded that the optimum design of the airway. The results show that:The design of the airway is more reasonable in the second scheme, it needs the filling time is 2.16 s. From the finite element model analysis diagram can be seen that the second scheme in airway arrangement is even and balanced. In the process of gas-assisted injection molding, The plastic melt flow direction is along the direction of least resistance of the gas, the gas flow channel set out ignored cause finger flow. Through the analysis of the scheme, around the airways can see thin walled area has a small amount of gas infiltration, to further adjust the length of the airway and the effect of the size can reduce the finger. So the second scheme meets the requirements.
