Water pollution is becoming more and more serious in recent years. Water quality hasseriously affected the people’s health in some areas. With the improvement of people’sawareness, Water environmental health problems has caused more and more attention. It isvery important to assess water resources with risk assessment method. Health risk assessmentof water environmental is a kind of evaluation method that quantitative linking toxicsubstances in waters and human health with specific numbers.Based on the environmental risk evaluation theory and model, health risk of drinkingwater sources was assessed in Panjin city. first of all,analysing toxic’s poisonousness on theresults of a variety of advanced theory.Secondly, Based on the evaluation of modelparameters by United States recommended and the actual situation of Panjin city, theevaluation parameter systems that Suit for PanJin city was established. Thirdly,Based ontriangular fuzzy numbers and assessment model of health risk, quantitatively analysised theintakes of toxicant of water by drinking water, skin contact and respiratory. Fourthly,according the standar values the was proposed of by United States Environmental ProtectionAgency, the International Commission on radiation protection, Sweden and theNetherlands.Lasrly,the results was detailedly expression by using charts.Risk assessment results showed that the risks of carcinogenic and non-carcinogenicexisted to human health at the same time in six water sources in Panjin city.The six watersources includes Shishan, Gaosheng, Xingyi,Xingnan,Pandong ang Dawa water sources.Andthe carcinogenic risk rate was far greater than the rate of non-carcinogenic risk. Andcarcinogenic risk rates had exceeded the maximum risk value that can be accepted by humanbody was recommended by international radiation Commission. The non-carcinogenic riskrates was lower than the standar values. The non-carcinogenic risk rates can rank by level ofrisk, Fluoride, Lead, Copper, MN,Zinc,Iron,Mercury, Ammonia, Cyanide, Volatilephenol. Access to drinking water, exposure routes of exposure and respiratory channels of theskin at the same time, but three different exposure causes human health risk varies greatly, therisk of illness from largest to smallest order for, Water way, skin contact, respiration pathway.In this study, the health risk of groundwater was assessed in Panjin city, andsequencing of identified contaminants in water treatment. These results can provide importantbasis for groundwater management in Panjin city.
