Lead is a kind of widely used metallic elements. With the development of industry and economy, lead is more and more needed. For its nonrenewable character, the importance of better lead smelting is evident-not to mention the social demands of it. The key of optimizing smelting is to improve lead smelting process control technology. Blast furnace device is functioned as reduction and resmelting of high lead skim-known as a key link of lead skim processing-in the pyrogenic process production line. The pressure of blast furnace device is a vital control parameter in lead smelting process and plays a decisive role in the quality improvement of the smelting products. Therefore, taking effort to optimize automatic production controlling, particularly, to improve the performance on pressure control, would be very meaningful to enhance the production effect on the lead smelting in a blast furnace.The blast furnace production process is introduced and the characteristics analysis of it on the basis of SKS way of lead smelting is made. And then, in accordance with research and analysis about the pressure control principle of blast furnace upon SKS way of lead smelting processing technology, the pressure control mathematical model on the blast furnace is established.As the blast furnace pressure control system has obvious characteristics of time-varying and time delay, the emergence of time delay and its effect to system performance are illustrated. What’s more, an introduction of generalized predictive control and traditional PID control principle are introduced under the characteristic analysis of blast furnace’s production process, PID structured generalized predictive control algorithm is taken into the use of blast furnace pressure control system to enhance the effectiveness of controlling system and strengthen the controlling robustness. The MATLAB simulation platform assessment proves that the operation is stable and reliable.Finally, after an abundance of theory interpretation and research exploration, a blast furnace pressure control model adopting with hierarchical control model is built. Providing both hardware and software within blast furnace pressure control system, the processing platform realizes the real-time monitoring and thus achieves the improvement of production efficiency.
