Mill flotation machine is a combination innovation of ball mill and flotation machine.It is a new product based on ball mill and flotation machine,and shorten mineral processing time and improve work efficiency through centralizing two process into one.From this two aspects of collision efficiercy and attachment efficiency of mineral particle and bubble Flotation efficiency model is conducted,it is conclued that mineral pulp concentration has a great influence on flotation efficiency.The inner flow field of mill flotation machine include mineral pulp turbulence and steel ball particle flow, computational fluid dynamics and discrete element method is carried out to analyse the flow field completely.Firstly,the flow field changing law around steel ball,velocity and turbulent kinetic energy is taken into consideration.Secondly,the whole flow field in stirred tank is simpfied and analyzed to find out mineral pulp concentration,in which mill flotation machine working effect is best.A group of simulation analysis under the working conditions of different mineral pulp concentration is completed,the best mineral pulp concentration is30%and40%by many physical quantities.In addition,steel ball particle flow is simulated with three dimension discrete element method under the condition of no mineral pulp and bubble,the spiral blade diameter value is obtained when mill flotation machine working effect is best.The stirred mill machine of a research institute is the experiment object,low grade bauxite is experimet material,different mineral pulp concentration is experimented respectively.Through the weight of+200mesh and granularity distribution of-200mesh,combination with requirements of mineral pulp concentration in flotation,it can be included that when the mill flotation machine working efficiency is highest,the mineral pulp concentration is between30%and40%,which is consistent with simulation results.66figures,8tables,65references.
