Wet fitration is a very important technical means in modern industrial dustpurification. In this article, based on conventional wet fiber layer dust purification basictheory, changing the fiber array structure inside the fiber layer to be a synclastic andvertical fiber bundle constitutes a new filter bed which is called dense fiber grid. Itsgreatest advantages are efficiency and resistance, no dust, easy to clean, and this filterbed can catch over90%of respirable dust whose grain size is below5μm. In the processof wet dust removal, the special construction of the dense fiber grid will help withcatching dust by a mist spray. This is good for the stability of purification efficiency andenergy consumption.According to the basic assumptions and the equivalent assumptions, we establish adense fibrous dust particles gate wet filter model, and deduce the theoretical equationsof grading efficiency and filtration resistance. In allusion to the complex filteringprocess which was caused by droplets, mist and sputtering, the equivalent assumptionsthat the cleaning fluid (water) evenly distributes on the surface of the fiber and flowsdown was proposed, and to make it be a simple purification process, we build the modelfor theoretical analysis on the basis of the assumptions.Based on the theoretical analysis, the laboratory bench was optimized, and routineand orthogonal experiments were designed. The optimal combination of differentinfluence factors was confirmed by orthogonal experiment, and the range of conditioncombinations for optimal filtration was confirmed by routine experiments. Themeasured experimental data and theoretical values were compared, and the necessarycorrections and dimensionless similarity coefficients were confirmed.According to the theoretical analysis and the experimental verification, the wholedense fiber grid theoretical system was completed, and elementary prototype design wasprovided by the theory.
