The Bath Structure Design And Research Of Slide-Type And Lift-Type Rehabilitation Assistive Devices

As China has gradually entered the aging society, the annual traffic accidents and other reasons, severe disabilities and the elderly are growing, and they also need more care. With the continuous development of society, the bath problems for severely disabled people are particularly urgent.It is a big problem for severely disabled people to bath, but they must to bath. First, it can keep the skin clean, promote blood circulation of the epidermis and reduce the incidence of complications; Second, it can use this opportunity to check the injury of paraplegia body; Third, it is a systemic movement.At present, the developments and productions of bathing assistive device for severe disabilities are still in the blank in our country. In response to this situation, the paper designs the rehabilitation assisted bathing devices. The bath structure designed in this article can meet the need of the severely disabled people life health. According to their daily life bath difficulty and bath security issues, the bath structure can solve the problem appearing during the process of walking into the bath, bathing and walking out of the bath, improve the life quality of the severely disabled people, reduce the labor intensity of the nurse and the risk of complications of the bedridden patients.This paper analyses the current situation and developmental trend of domestic and foreign bathing devices, and designs two kinds of rehabilitation assisted bathing equipment, one is the slide-style bath device, the other is lift-style bath device. According to their features, the elevator mechanism in slide-style bath device, bath structure and the corresponding supporting frames has been designed in this paper. In this paper, the overall mechanical structure was designed and the reasonable design was made with the features of these various parts.The structure of slide-style bath is relatively complex, that is determined by its features which is different with the lift-style bath device. The3D models were built and motion analysis of the slide-style bath device was carried out by SolidWorks.The base structure of rehabilitation assisted bathing devices can be matched up with transfer apparatus. The slide-style bathing device can solve bath problem of the action dysfunction groups in indoor environment and reduce the burden of nursing staff. It is significant to promote the development of China indoor bathing assistive device technology.
