Design And Development Of Home Disabled Elderly Bathing Auxiliary Equipment

As China gradually entered the aging society,the number of disabled elderly is increasing.Because of the gradual improvement of the quality of life,many families now hope that the elderly can enjoy their old age at home.However,the lack of family members' awareness of nursing care,the limitation of the size of the advanced equipment and the single function of the small and medium sized equipment.In particular,daily bath work becomes extremely difficult.Therefore,it is necessary to design a comprehensive,moderate size home bathing auxiliary equipment for the disabled elderly.In this paper,a bath auxiliary equipment was designed which accords with ergonomics engineering,mainly for disabled elderly in the family bath,as long as the home bathtub was slightly modified,you can easily cooperate with the use of this equipment.Firstly the psychological status of the disabled elderly,the body size and the housing structure of the ordinary family was analyzed.The best plan was made and 3D modeling was designed.Then the safety control system was designed,and the control circuit was simulated by Proteus software.The static strength analysis and stability analysis are carried out by using the finite element software and kinematics software.The security of the equipment was verified.Finally,the whole process of three-dimensional animation was simulated based on the CATIA environment.And upper limb posture evaluation of the nursing staff in the bath process was studied.The device can ensure the safety for the elderly bath,also improve the comfort of nursing staff.Families of disabled elderly bath auxiliary equipment combine transporting and bathing together.Not only accidents and injuries was avoided which may arise due to repeated handling in the process of transporting and bathing of the old man,but also it greatly reduces the burden of nursing staff for the elderly bathing.
