Tobacco storage is a key link in cigarette manufacturing process. Thepurpose of tobacco storage is to make moisture of tobacco, mixed liquid, spicesand other materials to penetrate with each other equaly. The changes oftemperature and humidity in the process of tobacco storage will have asignificant effect on changes in the chemical composition of tobacco, and eveneffect the sensory quality of cigarettes. Temperature and humidity oftobacco storage environment is controled by special air conditioning system. Atpresent, as a special source of national tax, China’s tobacco industry has thelargest scale of production in the world. However, the self-sufficient rate of mainmanufacturing equipment is low. Lack of technology and research relatedto tobacco storage leads to instability of quality in the tobacco storage link inmany tobacco factory, and this will bring a great loss to tobacco factorys.Therefore, the research on theory and application of the main control system oftobacco storage room has an important practical value and significance.Based on the adequate study of the structure of tobacco storage room andprocess requirements, this article designs an air conditioning control system oftobacco storage room on the basis of PLC,and the design includes the selectionand configuration of hardware module and the electric drive system.This article creates a temperature field model of tobacco pile in tobaccostorage room, and gets a temperature field distributed model of tobacco understorage circumstance by calculating numerical simulation of temperature fieldwith finite difference method. Establish a mathematical model of the variousparts of air conditioning system and simulation study in view of the energy andmass conservation theorem.Design fuzzy PID controller of air conditioning control system in tobaccostorage room according to the law of temperature and humidity changes. The results of this experiment show that the controller designed is better than thetraditional fuzzy PID controller in all aspects of performance indicators,whichincluding responding to the system significantly faster, overshoot is significantlyreduced and the steady-state error is smaller.
