The functionality and emotionality of art design is closely linked, with thedevelopment of society and the improvement of people’s life consumers are not onlyincreasingly demanding high-design products, but also requires a certain aesthetic andemotional appeals, moreover it is consumers’ personal taste reflection for the pursuit ofbeauty products. In order to impress consumers the products makers should first payattention to the product’s features require that should make consumers feel easy to use.In addition the products designer should not ignore the emotional demands ofconsumers. According to the survey indicates that consumers’ buying behavior is mostlygenerated on the basis of emotional consumption. Therefore, only put into the design ofproducts to meet the emotional and social development needs of the times, the productscan be easier to impress the consumers. Art and design functional and emotionalinteraction study was designed through a certain method to make the product’s featuresand emotional demands of the consumers effectively integrated, on the one hand tomake the products as much as possible to meet the consumers’ meets of functionalneeds of the products that is convenient to use. On the other hand it can enhance theemotional experience of consumer products and loyalty through the emotional design,increasing communication and emotional communication between the consumers andproducts and the corporate to win the consumer’s sense of identity.Art and design functional and emotional interactive study taking the children’sfood packaging for example, starting from the children’s food packaging designfunctionality, children’s food packaging design which is inherent emotional andresearching on the content, method, case analysis and practical application of art anddesign functional and emotional interaction study to expound children’s food packagingdesign, through the children’s food packaging functional and emotional interactionstudy, to maximize the function of packaging in order to attract children’s interests andpromoting the sale of goods.
