| Thermal CTP is a new plate-making process, which has a very important meaning in morden printing industry, there are some problems in the application process such as short of funding for most of our printing enterprise, low level of pre-press staff, lack of understanding for digital process, quality control and detection system are not perfect and so on. In order to change the current situation, improve plate speed and quality, the author put forward the promotion of the relatively low cost of domestic CTP, equipment and focus on the training of pre-press plate-making technology and process, which will establish perfect quality control method and detection system.Firstly, this paper analysis the basic elements of thermal CTP plate process, which including plate-making equipment, plate-making materials, plate-making environment, plate-making staff work quality and the digital process, as well as every plate factor and plate quality effect. Secondly, by applying exposure experiment, developing detection, pre-press detection, the author has summed up the related data such as exposure parameters, developing temperature, developing density, developing time, brush speed, washing, drying temperature on the quality of state influence; Finally, pass the output test plate experiment and the experiment of conventional printing plate with control tape, using a color density instrument, test its coverage rate and mask retention rate, using a microscope detect dot shape, with medical alcohol cotton swab test plate bottom ash residue. Constantly update exposure parameters and developing parameters, decide a suitable experimental parameter table and determine a printing plate linear curve. And then the obtained four-color printing machine printing, checking printing on the dot coverage, leaving membrane and the rate of dot shape, recording the detected data to determine the linear curve. Finally, get the test data based on the test above, export a conventional plate with control tape and then test, verify the printing plate linearization.
