With the development of the coal mining industry, the technology of hydraulicsupport design and manufacturing has developed rapidly. The shield hydraulic supportwith two columns, who has simple structure and high efficiency, has a broaddevelopment prospect.Due to shortcomings exist in the design of the shield hydraulic support with twocolumns, such as the efficiency is low and with poor institution reasonably, and so on.This topic has designed and developed the system named “Parametric Design Systemfor the Shield Hydraulic Support with Two Columns”. The functions of the system canbe divided into three parts: Multi-objective optimizatic design of four-bar linkage;Spatial and mechanical analysis for the shield hydraulic support with two columns;Contral for the three-dimensional and parameterized model of hydraulic support. Webuilt the mathematical model for movement of the hydraulic support based on theclassical design Theory, aiming at improving the overall performance, we optimizaticdesigned the external dimensions of the four-bar linkage. Refering to the loading test inthe form of standard, we built the mechanistic model of the hydraulic support, and gotthe most adversely force parameters of the various components making up the supportby the means of calculating and analyzing the performance parameters of parts ofsupport in several typical conditions. Determine and check the geometric properties ofthe dangerous section of parts according to the mechanical parameters. Then, generate athree-dimensional model of pars and machine assembly of support of different type ofstructure or of different sizes.In the process of this design, we successfully linked the two softwares, Pro/E andVisual C++2005, using the primary functions of Pro/Toolkit. By ways of adding userdialog boxes and controls, writing codes of the functions, building thethree-dimensional models of arameterized controlling, we successfully achievedbuilding the syetem of “Parametric Design System for the Shield Hydraulic Supportwith Two Columns”. In the end, we compared the mechanical results those coming fromthe snalysis system we built and the finite elements analysis software ANSYS, the resultof comparation showes that, the final data that from differenct ways is similar, whichproving the system we built is of a higher degree of accuracy. This topic designed a four-bar linkage hydraulic support with two columns makinguse of modern methods of optimization and the design technology of3D parametric. Asa result, we improved the efficiency of design, achieved the maximize inheritance fromdata to products, improved the quality of the products, so that it has a highercompetitiveness in the market. The techniques and methods used by the subject is notonly suitable for researching and developping hydraulic support in the type offour-linkage, also, it is of a good value of reference for researching and developing theother mechanical products. Therefore it is of important theoretical significance andpractical value.
