In the design progress of the Long Wall Mining Hydraulic Support, it is important tocalculate the forces and torques on each part of the hydraulic support accurately.Contemporary methods have some disadvantages in the calculation of the torques on thehydraulic support, which makes the hydraulic support designed based on these methods notstrong enough to sustain the loads in the tunnel and always get broken. To solve the problem,a method is invented adopting Rigid Finite Element Method to analyze the spatial forces ofhydraulic support and a Hydraulic Support Spatial Force Analysis Software is designed, which construct the main works of this thesis, described as follows:(1) A Deformation Compatibility Condition is formed to solve the unknown forcesadopting Rigid Finite Element Method, treating the axle and plate parts as flexible parts andthe beams as rigid parts after fully analysis of the structure of hydraulic support;(2) A Three-dimensional Mechanics Analysis Method is invented to get the forces andtorques on the parts caused by loads: the vertical loads and torque loads are projected and gotin three planes, then the forces and torques on parts are got though distributing loads on eachplane using the Rigid Finite Element Method;(3)A Spatial Force Analysis Software is designed based on the new method described inthe thesis, which can simulate the load tests, calculate the mechanical parameters and outputthem in files;(4) The ZY10800/28/63Hydraulic Support is analyzed using the method in this thesis, and the correctness of this method is proven though the comparison of the mechanicscalculation results and the Strain Test Data from the Hydraulic Support Company.
