Exploration And Application Of Packaging Design With The Concept Of Ecology

"To eat for days", cereals have been the traditional diet of consumer goods in China, however the quality of the cereals’packaging design is to be improved. In recent years, with the improvement of people’s living standards, people’s consciousness about ecology and the concept of environmental protection has been strengthened, more and more businesses and consumers are starting to realize whether the packaging design of the products is reasonable or not, so we can’t ignore the impacts on the eco-environment.This subject was created by using Documental Analysis, Case Analysis, and Integrated Packaging Systems Analysis. I also did lots of investigation to research the packaging forms, materials, production techniques of the organic cereals on the market comprehensively. I took the packaging design of the cereal which belongs to Halcrow health square as an example to do some research.Halcrow health square is an emerging brand and it is run by the way of the straight camp shop and being on sale in supermarket, so the manager of the business wants to make the packaging design of the product look different from the same product’s. However, the managers are facing the same problems that the others are facing. They didn’t know how to make the new products be accepted by consumers. They realized the singleness of the materials and packaging design of the products. Also, they were anxious to be creative. As an organic and ecology product, organic cereals should be different from other cereals in choosing materials and packaging design.The subject will be discussed from these two ways. One is to recognize the packing design of the products, the other is to display how to design it including the problems which were found during the research and the process of thinking. I hope my subject can be useful for other brilliant designers and make positive contribution to packaging and sustainable development of society.
