The holdings of three grade reserves for the underground metal mine production period isan important basis to balance mining plan. It not only reflects the store conditions of mine threegrade reserves and the excavation actuality, but also guarantees the continuation and safety ofproduction. If the mine has excessive three grade reserves, it will cause the backlog of minefunds. In other words the excessive three grade reserves will cause more service time and moremaintenance costs of roadway. The contrary, if the three grade reserves is too little it may affectthe normal production of the mine. So, the problem of reasonable allocation of three gradereserves is a technical and economic issues need to study, which aslo relates to the security ofmining production. With the constant expansion of mining and mining depth gradually increased in recent years, most domestic mine are more or less facing the problem of imbalance in the amount of threemine, which seriously affected the normal production of the mine. So the reasonable allocationof three grade reserves becomes increasingly can not be ignored. In order to meet the needs ofthe socialist market economy, reduce the waste of underground mineral resources and maximizethe mining interests, it is imperative to reasonably allocate three grade reserves. Allocated on anreasonable basis three grade reserves ensure mine production having a equitable and sustainabledevelopment, so that the mining enterprises can go into a virtuous circle road.As ore body exist in complex rock, there is a lot of uncertainty factors. Combined withmining is a multi-step and multi-excavation process, that leads to the reasonable allocation of thethree grade reserves is not a single reason and results’ problem. Reasonable allocation of minethree grade reserves has a great fuzziness, and the relationship between the various factors ofthree grade reserves had been not well coordinated. This article combined with the knowledge offuzzy theory to multivariate analysis the four representative factors which affect the three gradereserves, and use the appropriate weight method for determining the reasonable weight of eachfactor, then applied fuzzy comprehensive evaluation for underground mine three grade reserves. The program can take the impact of different deposit types, mining conditions, mining methodsand production capacity and other factors into consideration. It can make an appropriate threegrade reserves that meets for different mines and different conditions of geological andproduction. So it has a good practical application value.
