| With the rapid economic development of modern society, energy issues have been paidmore and more attentions. An abundance of Conventional energy such as coal, oil isconsumed, which caused too much greenhouse gas, so it is extremely important to develop thenew environmentally clean energy. LNG storage tank is the container of liquefied natural gaswhich is a new environmental clean energy, its safety is a vital problem so that the seismicresearch of LNG storage tank is of great significance.This paper uses VC++to write software to rapidly model the external tank of LNGstorage tank for ABAQUS, which is consist of prestressed concrete. A full-scale model ofexternal LNG storage tank is established for earthquake response analysis, what follows inthis passage lists the specific content of the paper:First, the ABAQUS damaged plasticity model is used to simulate concrete constitutiverelation after comparing the advantages and disadvantages of various numerical model. Theprestressed external LNG storage tank has a volume of50000cubic meters by referring to aproject example. The prestressed reinforced finite element model is realized by dropping thetemperature. The values of the property of materials are given, the appropriate analysiselement of the model is selected.Secondly, rapidly modeling program of external tank of LNG storage tank model iswritten based on VC++, including rapid establishment of solid models of concrete, prestressedsteel model and reinforced model, meshing these models, the input of boundary conditionsand material properties. At last the program can export the model’s INP file that can importinto finite element software ABAQUS.Then, after the modal analysis of external prestressed concrete tank of LNG storage tank,this paper extracts the first30order modal model. On this basis, the response spectrumanalysis of the whole model is done under8degrees rare earthquake, getting vertexdisplacement and base shear. The analysis showed that the prestressed concrete outer tank ofLNG storage tank has a large rigidity.Finally, the response of the external tank under the earthquake action is analysed by timehistory analysis. The EL-Centro wave, Qianan wave, Nanjing wave and Shanghai artificialwave are chosen as the input seismic wave. In every moment, the results separately give the vertex displacement and acceleration under0.1g,0.2g,0.3g,0.4g peak of seismic wave, alsothe share force of the bottom of the model. The analysis shows that the structure is still in theelastic state under0.4g peak of earthquake wave, that manifested the external prestressedconcrete tank has a good aseismic capacity.In this paper, rapidly modeling program of external tank of LNG storage tank model iswritten, the capacity of seismic resistance of50,000cubic meters prestressed concreteexternal LNG storage tank is estimated. The results will help to achieve the safety assessment,structural design and localization of the LNG storage tanks. |
