The billet which is sent into between the first and the last one of the mill called rolling. Or called billet.Called out the mill steel. As a raw material,steel plays an indispensable role in the automotive manufacturing sector. With one hand, the direction of steel processing, production, forming which was developed from the original manual semi-automatic control to fully automated computer controlled direction, the manufacturer has the increasingly high demand on the mechanical properties and the dimensional accuracy of steel; On the other hand, the automobile and other manufacturing industries were gradually developed, and the demand of steel was increasing, since the country was bringed into the "WTO" in recent years. The manufacturing was proposed to transform and upgrad in the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan". Manufacturing was proposed to transform and upgrade,which requirements to upgrade and improve the core competitiveness of industries. As the foundation of important measures, a country was taken to the way of achieve sustainable development, the efficient and economical means of production such as the little or no use of cutting machining is to promote resource conservation. Rolled production which is a effective means to produce precision strip must be taken now. While the rolling process of finite element simulation technology was adopted on theoretical development equipment and research for many years, but is not commonly used for precision rolling. Therefore, aiming at to make more in-depth theoretical study to explore, and improving product quality becomes extremely important.This paper mainly studies the the whole process of precision rolling between flat single-pass and multi-pass rolling. The contents of this paper can be showed as follows:1. Aiming at the research status of precision machining equipment for domestic and foreign and the current main problems of the country facing are analyzed.2. The basic theory of finite element and the development, functions, features and applications of finite element software deform are introduced.3. Basing on rolling theory, three-dimensional finite element model of steel precision rolling is established, and do a successful simulation with using the appropriate loading and constraint conditions for single and double precision rolling process pass.4. The stress and strain contours are obtained by simulation of the single and double-pass rolling, and various rolling conditions that they affect the accuracy of rolling dimensional and power consumption were detailly analyzed such as rolling thickness, width, roll diameter, reduction and other changes during the single pass, multi-pass rolling process.5. The flat was rolled simulate with allocation of reduction being different between first pass and second pass, and other parameters being under the same conditions in double-pass, and equivalent stress and strain curve of the fixed point which is on the rolling was analyzed.6. Reduction, rolling dimensions and other parameters are constant in the double-pass rolling process, equivalent stress, strain curve of four points which was taken on the same type of rolling was analyzed.The conclusions of this study indicate that it has an deep influence on improving the accuracy of flat and reducing the energy cosumption.
