Design And Implementation Of Dongbei Special Steel100t Converter Gas Purification And Recovery System

The converter steelmaking process will produce a large number of high temperature flue gas, flue gas not only contains a lot of heat, but also contains carbon monoxide gas and iron oxide with high economic value. Flue gas must reach the standard to discharge in environmental protection law. At the same time, the converter gas recovery is an important method to reduce the cost of production. Therefore, flue gas purification and recovery is important component part in BOF steelmaking process.Dongbei Special Steel Group start the implementation of large steel overall environmental transformation of the relocation in2007, in order to adapt to the development of modern steelmaking technology, decided to construct a100t converter in the two period of reformation project, flue gas purification and recovery system is the important auxiliary equipment. The current converter flue gas purification and recovery have two mainstream technologies:wet purification and recovery technology and dry purification and recovery technique. Through comparing the technical parameters, the economic index, the advantages and disadvantages of two converter flue gas purification and recovery technology, combing with the industrial policies of the state and the Dongbei special steel actual situation, we decided to use the dry flue gas purification and recovery technology. Flue gas volume production is the basic design parameters of fume cleaning and recovery system of converter, we use various methods to analyze and calculate the100t converter flue gas volume in this paper, and on the basis of data we determine the device types and parameters, after that we introduce the debug of the key equipment.Converter dry flue gas purification and recovery system construction began in2010, completed and put into production in July,2011. For meeting production, equipment parameters was amended several times in more than two years, so far, the main indexes of purification and recovery of100tons of converter have reached the design goal, in2013September converter steel-making energy consumption is to achieve negative, thus the Dongbei Special Steel100tons of converter flue gas dry purification and recovery system has been fully implemented yield and benefit target, achieved the true meaning of success.
