In the domestic iron and steel enterprises steel-making furnace transformation for the beginning of converter, except for the second phase project of Baosteel converter gas purification recovery system of purification and recovery process by introduction of dry(LT), other iron and steel enterprises are used method(OG) wet purification and recovery process, but due to wet method(OG) purification recycling process of dust removing efficiency low, affect the users use of gas and caused air pollution. So many iron and steel enterprises in the system back to the other set up a wet electrostatic precipitator for further fine dust, to ensure that the dust concentration to 10mg/Nm3 below, in order to achieve user requirements.Over the past decade, awareness of domestic iron and steel enterprises to converter gas dry purification recovery process advanced, superiority, since the beginning of 2003, Shandong Laiwu Iron and steel company first in 120 t converter the converter gas dry purification and recovery system, subsequently Baotou, Taiyuan Iron & steel, Handan Iron and steel, Baosteel, Tiantie, bearing steel and other steel companies also has the converter gas dry purification and recovery process. So far, about 1/3 of the domestic converter using dry process purification recovery process.Currently, almost all new large-scale converter using dry electrostatic precipitator technology, visible advanced technology, mature technology, the new converter using the dry dust is the trend. Converter gas dry dust removal technology has been included in the Ministry of steelmaking energy saving technology promotion and application of key projects, "the steel industry" second five "development plan".The according to the characteristics of the literature review of converter operation, combined with the converter gas dry purification recovery technology application experience, configured for typical 180 t converter dry cleaning and recovery system, emphatically from the process flow, calculation, equipment selection, energy saving analysis of comprehensive research, to determine the 180 t converter gas dry purification and recovery system of process scheme.In this paper, including system design, selection of key equipment technology, energy analysis,and ancillary facilities design four parts. System design, including process design, system parameter calculation, both inside and outside the workshop process set Shiping Li surface layout and other content. Selection of key equipment technology include adding evaporative cooler selection, selection of the electrostatic precipitator selection selection, selection of the axial fan selection, switching stations, gas cooler selection and so on. Saving analysis includes comparing the wet purification and recovery processes- saving analysis, saving analysis and so on. Auxiliary facilities design includes instrumentation design, media design and other energy content.The design follows the relevant national and regional building regulations and standards, rational use of the limited space inside the main building of steel to optimize the general layout, the choice of advanced and reliable technology and equipment,and strive to save energy, based on industrial safety and environmental protection, in ensuring the system to minimize operating costs under the premise of effectively reduce particulate matter emissions and significantly improve the converter gas recovery indicators.
