In recent years, fieldbus technology in the industrial control has been developed rapidly with its characteristics of all-digital, all-dispersed and all-open. Currently, it has been widely applied in water supply systems, power systems, telecontrol systems, chemical industry and other fields. The fieldbus control system has the advantages of simple structure, reliable system, economical and practical. It is gradually replacing the traditional control scheme, and becoming the development direction of advanced control system.CAN is short for Controller Area Network. It was first developed and issued by the German BOSCH. Eventually become the international standard. CAN bus is a serial communication bus which can support the distributed control system effectively. As one of the most widely used fieldbus in industry, since it came into being, the CAN bus has been widely favored in the industrial field of its excellent performance, low price and high reliability. And it can adapt to the industrial environments of harsh ambient temperature, strong electron radiation and huge shock."SHCAN2000fieldbus" adopts the same network structure with CAN bus, and it has CAN bus functional characteristics. Programmable controllers have the advantages of traditional PLC and regulator, and ensure powerful control functions. It provides a certain degree of reliability and economy, and reflects the advanced features of the fieldbus control system.This paper in line with the actual operation requires and possible expansion in the future of the new polypropylene catalyst production of Yingkou Xiangyang chemical factory, designed an automated integrated system of management control based on "SHCAN2000fieldbus" and Kingview software. This paper describes the system architecture of "SHCAN2000fieldbus" in detail. And it deeply analyses the hardware and software design in system build process on the basis of the polypropylene catalyst production process requirements. According to the function all-dispersed characteristic of fieldbus, this paper focus on the configuration of PC operator station and field intelligent control unit. The final design of fieldbus control system provides a more intuitive and accurate monitoring and control for the management of the polypropylene catalyst production process.
