The construction of ecological civilization is attached increasing attention by the society. To develop ecological industry is an important content for the construction. As a gathering area for industrial development, Eco-Industrial Park is an important carrier of the national economy and regional economic development. Restricted by historical conditions, there are many problems in most of our parks, such as extensive growth mode, tighter resource constraints etc. Based on a project on Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Area (GETDA), we aimed to find out its development foundation, scientifically evaluate its current eco-compatible level, determine the next key tasks, and provide a reliable basis for the project.Selected as the research object, GETDA was qualitatively analyzed by SWOT analysis to obtain its profiles. It turned out that there were obvious advantages in GETDA, such as strong industrial base, high land productivity, evident industrial cluster effect, improving infrastructures, better technological innovation foundation, steady public service platform, etc., together with disadvantages such as scarce land resources, chaotic industrial layout, short industrial chain, sensitive ecological environment, etc.An industry-ecology compatible evaluation index system was established, which included15indicators in areas of resource output, recycling and waste discharge. And then a comprehensive evaluation index named industry-ecology compatible index was built to quantitatively determine the level of GETDA. The value of the index of GETDA was0.77, garded II, indicating a good level of industrial ecology compatibility, i.e., the overall construction of the park had made great success. The values of indicators of resource output, recycling and waste discharge were respectively0.62,0.70,0.74. while a third class indicator of land productivity turned out to be-0.27, graded IV, which was much lower than all the other indicators.Based on the comprehensive qualitative and quantitative analysis above, the industrial ecologilization implementation route for the park was raised, interpreted in aspects of industrial clusters adjustment, spatial layout optimization, circular economy industrial chain construction, efficient use of energy resources, pollution centralized governance, etc., providing a scientific decision-making reference for the construction of GETDA. The industry-ecology compatible evaluation index system represents the current ecological and industrial development level of GETDA. The specific implementation path of GETDA explored provides ideas and methods for further research and construction on industry.
