The oil mist particles expose to all kinds of force during transmission, the particles occur settlement and rally. This phenomenon influence concentration of oil mist, Transmission distance and the Use efficiency of oil mist. The oil mist lubrication is a centralized lubricating way, Transmission distance relationship to the lubricating points of oil mist lubrication system. The use efficiency of oil mist relationship to oil consumption. The concentration of oil mist will affect directly lubrication effect. Therefore, it is indispensable to research oil mist transmission process. The influencing factors of transmission pipeline include:pipe diameter, pipe range, material quality and resistance distribution. This thesis focuses on the variation oil mist particles with the same pipelines, but different section. Through the literature, we analyze theoretically the three main factors of the oil mist decrease along the pipeline. The oil mist pressure gradually reduced; Oil mist particles adhere to the transmission pipeline; The collision and polymerization between oil mist particles. In order to contrast analysis with experimental research, this thesis conduct Entity modeling and grid partition by Gambit and completed numerical simulation by FLUENT. The setting parameter correspond to experimental conditions, the simulation results show that oil mist decrease along the pipeline. this thesis captures five sections to observe the variation of oil mist particle. The simulation results agree mainly with the experimental results. In experimental study, the inlet flow we setting is10m3/h, the temperature lubricating oil is23℃, lubricating oil46.1began to collection data after stable operation for lOmin, the initial particle size h=10mm、D32=2.597μm, h=35mm、D32=2.595μmand h=60mm、D32=2.616μm.The’h’means depth-sampling. Every sampling points have three layers sampling at h=10mm, h=35mm, h=60mm. The particle size of oil mist decrease along the transmission pipeline at h=10mm, h=35mm, but the size increase at h=60mm, this results may come from the collision and polymerization between oil mist particles. The data of this thesis has certain reference value regarding to oil mist transmission process, it needs to be further study.
