Chlorine is the important organic chemical material and its use is widespread. But chlorineis toxic gas. Chlorine is harmful to people, animals and plants. It also causes environmentpollution. At the same time, chorine gas is the combustion gas. If it combines with flammabilitygas, it will cause fire and explosion accidents. Study the rule of chlorine leakage diffusion anddetermine its harm scope can provide guidance to the emergency rescue work.Firstly, this thesis narratives the models suitable for heavy gas diffusion. Secondly, itestimates liquid chlorine harm scope by P-G diffusion model and box model for heavy gas cloud.Then it simulates chlorine leakage diffusion process by FLUENT Software. It analyses heavygas diffusion rules and the effect of leakage position and wind speed to heavy gas diffusionthrough chlorine gas speed distribution, temperature distribution and chlorine gas volumefraction distribution. Then it simulates a chlorine gas accident and determines chlorine gas harmscope through chlorine gas mass fraction. Finally, it analyses prevention measures and disposalcounter measures for chlorine gas leakage. |
