As a key equipment for coal mine fully mechanized working face, the hydraulic support hasplayed an important role on supporting the roof, maintaining the work space, working on the coalmining machine and conveyor in the process of mechanized coal mining, and it is the key factorof the fully mechanized coal’s success or failure. In recent years, with the increase of the coalseam of large dip Angle, the big Angle hydraulic support demands also gradually increase. Thisarticle is based on ZZ5000/14.5/31type big Angle hydraulic support, to simulation of the actualworking conditions, and research by finite element analysis.Firstly this paper introduces the characteristics, technical requirements, principle andprevent fall and antiskid device of this ZZ5000hydraulic support. Secondly we build the largedip angle hydraulic support’s3d modules by Pro/E software, and analysis the space stresscondition of the support, then by using the ANSYS software to proceeding the structure finiteelement analysis of the support’s important structure only according to the condition of roofbeam torsion. So we can know the stress and deformation distribution situation of this support’simportant structure. So as to improve the accuracy of designing the hydraulic support, alsofacilitate to select proper material, adopt measures in the stress concentration as to facilitate toimprove the distribution of stress, and last providing some reference for the future design.The pillar is the most important and the most vulnerable to damage in the hydraulic support,it as the main bearing parts play an important role coal on mining safety under high pressurestrength and reliability. In the fully mechanized working face, the old roof and immediate rooffall suddenly can make the support’s column a big impact dynamic load, however the impactload of hydraulic pillar is dealing as a falling object. This paper firstly uses the AMESimsoftware to simulate the dynamic load boundary conditions of the cylinder and then using theANSYS software to post for dynamic analysis of the pillar. Through this method we got the realcondition of simulation results of the support’s hydraulic cylinder under the dynamic load effect.This article through the analysis of support structural strength’s static load and posthydraulic cylinder’s dynamic load, we can fully and accurately get the data of support’s allaspects, and from the source solve the major security accidents and economic loss caused by theimpact of the column, and provide safe and reasonable theoretical basis for the design of thehydraulic support.
