The ecological conditions, varieties, cultivation and production management techniques affect comprehensively the chemical composition of flue-cured tobacco. The chemical composition of flue-cured tobacco from different growing-tobacco areas formed its own unique quality features and style differences. The characteristic of chemical components of flue-tobacco leaf from Fenghuang County were studied and the variation tendency of the chemical components of flue-cured tobacco in the different years were analyzed and the chemical components of flue-cured tobacco between Fenghuang and main domestic and overseas were compared and the chemical components of flue-tobacco leaf from Fenghuang County were fuzzy comprehensive evaluated by detecting total sugar, reducing sugar, nicotine, total nitrogen, potassium and chlorine of flue-tobacco samples with3grades(B2F,C3F,X2F) from the typical tobacco-growing town of Fenghuang County and main domestic and overseas. The results were as follows:1) Nicotine of flue-cured tobacco and nitrogen/nicotine were at right levels from Fenghuang County, and total sugar, reducing sugar, sugar/nicotine, potassium/chlorine were slightly high, and total nitrogen, potassium, chlorine was slightly low. The difference of chemical components in tobacco samples between tobacco-growing town was statistical significant. The main chemical components of flue-cured tobacco leaves in8typical tobacco-growing towns of Fenghuang County were divided into3types (high sugar/nicotine, middle sugar/nicotine, low sugar/nicotine) by the cluster analysis.2)T the stability of potassium of flue-cured tobacco and chlorine are worst from Fenghuang County, while that of total nitrogen is best in different years. The difference of chemical components of flue-cured tobacco among years was significant at1%level, except that total sugar and reducing sugar of B2F grade. The variation tendency of total sugar and reducing sugar increase, while that total nitrogen, nicotine, potassium and chlorine decrease in different years.3) Comparing with main domestic and overseas leaves, Fenghuang leaves were higher sugar, slightly higher potassium, lower nitrogen, lower chlorine and suitable nicotine.The similarity of chemical components of flue-cured tobacco was the highest between Fenghuang county and Qianxinan Xingyi city of pure-sweetness type, followed by Dali Xianyun county and Qujing Luoping county of fresh-sweetness type. The difference of chemical components of flue-cured tobacco was more between Fenghuang county and Chenzhou Guiyang county, Xuchan Shang county of burnt-sweetness type, and Zimbabwe and Brazil of overseas leaves.4)The sequence of the chemical components usability index of flue-cured tobacco in Fenghuang county:C3F> B2F> X2F. The chemical components usability index of flue-cured tobacco from Liupo, Chatian, Ala, Heku, Qian Longping and Lianglin town were relatively good among the different town.
