This study used Yunyan87which planted in Hunnan chenzhou as the main material, while K327, NC297and Yunyan87were the contrast varieties. This research applied contrast microscope and scanning electron microscope to study Glandular hairs morphological characteristics and distribution characteristics, which included different periods of tobacco, different leaves of tobacco plant and different parts of tobacco leaves, in this research we also studied the relationship between the application amount of nitrogen and potassium with the Glandular hairs morphological characteristics and distribution characteristics. The main results are as follows:1. Tobacco glandular hairs include long handle trichomes and short handle trichomes, non gland trichomes. Three different forms in different growth period showed different changes Tobacco in the early stage of the long glandular hairs shank and the head is smooth and round, head inside and outside are elliptical or peach shape; in the early mature period of tabacoo,the head of glandular hairs began to secrete aroma substances, part of the viscous liquid attached to the handle, glandular hair head department began to shrink, the surface appeared uneven, some handle dry started to bend or break into the headless glandular hairs; in the late mature period of tobacco the head of glandular hairs was dry and sag, some completely broke into headless glandular hairs, handle stem lodging direction was different, some started falling directly from the base..2. The quantity and distribution of Tobacco glandular hairs were closely related to the varieties.Before the mature period of Tabacco,K236all skin long handle glandular hairs and short glandular hairs were greater than87and NC297.And K236glandular hairs’density decreased faster than the other varieties. In the late mature period and over mature period of tabacco, Yunyan87had the largest density of glandular hairs, K326was in the middle and NC297was minimal.All skin of non gland trichomes in the three varieties had relatively less,but in the late mature period and over mature period,Yunyan87’s glandular hairs’density were greater than K236and NC297.3. Tobacco glandular hairs’density and distribution varied from the leaves,leaf area of tobacco plant.Compared Yunyan87’s different leaf position and different sampling parts to density of long handle glandular hairs, short glandular hairs, non glandular hairs.. then concluded that in the different sampling location on the same leaf,the three types of glandular hairs were rendered in tip> leaf> leaf base, in the late mature and over mature period leaf base> leaf> in the blade tip. Different leaf epidermis of all three types’density of glandular hairs appeared from bottom to top in turn. This experiment also studied the different skin glandular trichome density based on different glandular hairs form to present different change trend, long glandular hairs and short glandular hairs’density differences appeared on the skin<under the skin,non glandular hairs’density differences appeared under the skin<on the skin Three types of glandular hairs present different rules with varieties of different tobacco. K326in the early mature period,the density of glandular hairs and Yunyan87and NC297achieved significant difference (p<0.05), tobacco leaf in the late mature and overmature period, Yunyan87’density of glandular hairs, K326and NC297achieved significant difference (p<0.05).4. Nitrogen and potassium fertilizer effected the trichome density and distribution in tobacco leaves. Different nitrogen and potassium application did not change the proportion of the three types of glandular hairs which were still showed that:before tobacco maturity, the proportion of long handle trichome was larger than the proportions of short handle trichome and non gland trichome; after tobacco maturity, the proportion of non gland trichome was larger than the proportion of short handle trichome and long handle trichome.The results of Nitrogen fertilizer experiment conducted with Yunyan87were:before tobacco maturity, the number of the three kinds of glandular hairs in different parts of the same leaf were showed that base<middle<tips;after tobacco maturity the number of the three kinds of glandular hairs in different parts of the same leaf were showed that base<middle<tips.There are significantly difference of the number of three kinds of glandular hairs in every parts of the upper and lower epidermis between different nitrogen application at different periods,and the difference showed that:The density of long handle trichome and short handle trichome increased with the increasing of nitrogen application;The density of non gland trichome decreased with the increasing of nitrogen application. The results of potassium fertilizer experiment conducted with Yunyan87were:the number of three kinds of glandular hairs in every parts of tobacco leaves showed different change trends in the growth period; there are significantly difference between600kg/hm2and720kg/hm2potassium application treatments.But the rhythm of glandular trichome density of potassium fertilizer experiment was not obviously that further study is needed.
