The nutrition, convenience and taste of food have become a pursuit of people nowadays with the rapid ecnomic develoment. The series products of meat duck are warmly wecomed for the feature of freshess and tenderness, high protein and low fat. The need and price of duck products are increased year after year with great market prospect for the reason that ducks are consumed in many places in China. In recent years, especially in developed countries, duck product sales boomed for their safty, sanitation, nutrition and convenience.The project of annual slautering and processing10,800,000meat ducks has some key production steps including quarantine inspection before slautering, hanging ducks, bloodletting, scalding, roughening, waxing, pulling out duck tougue, pulling out short-haired pelt, checking feathers, cutting open, cutting duck claws, cleaning inside out, precooling, etc.This is a poultry slautering project in which10,800,000meat ducks are slautered and processed per year. By consulting National Industrial Restructing Guidance Catalogue(2011), this projest is not in the Encouraged, Limited or Eliminated class.but in the Permitted class. According to the related rules, this project must enforce environmental impact assessment system.This subject analyzes slautering and processing craft and assesses environmental impact of waste gas, waste water, noise, and solid waste after operation. The subject provides related environmental impact assessment guidance for slautering and processing craft.
