Ecological silk fabrics are environment friendly and have no effect or less impacton human health in the process of producing, using and recycling. The raw material ofecological silk fabrics should be harmless or less harmful for environment and human.The low-energy consumption and ecological technology is used in the process oftechnology development, production, commodities circulation and resource utilization.The theme of this paper is ecology and the main purpose is to design and developecological silk fabrics which are green and healthy.The main studies of this paper include ecological degumming, ecological dyeingand ecological finishing of crease resistance and antimicrobial to silk fabrics. Theoptimum processes of silk degumming technology with papain, silk degummingtechnology with high temperature and pressure, silk dyeing technology with berberine,chestnut shell, rare earths and tannic acid, silk finishing technology with chitosan werediscussed and studied. Also, part of wearability of silk fabrics which processed withecological technologies were tested and analyzed. The studied results show that, theoptimum processes of silk degumming with papain is: the papain quality concentration4g/L, temperature80℃, time80min. The optimum processes of silk degumming withhigh temperature and pressure is: temperature125℃, time40min, bath radio1:40. Theoptimum processes of silk dyeing with berberine is: temperature65℃, time60min, thepH value7. The optimum processes of silk dyeing with chestnut shell was:temperature95℃, time60min, the pH value3. The fastness of silk fabrics dyed withberberine and chestnut shell can be improved by pre-mordanting with tannic acid. Theoptimum processes of silk finishing with chitosan was: the chitosan qualityconcentration2g/L, the citric acid quality concentration1.2g/L, rolling over rate80%,baking temperature150℃, baking time120s.Based on the study above,we choose the reasonable and optimum processes,design and develop four kinds of ecological silk fabrics, test and analyze its ecologicalindicators and part of wearability. The results of study show that: four kinds of silk fabrics are ecological, green and healthy. They meet the tested requirement of theGB/T18885-2009and have excellent UV resistance property, moisture penetrability,crease resistance and antimicrobial property.
