Panyu District is Guangzhou "south land" in key areas, is one of the most importantindustrial areas of Guangzhou and an important export base of industry. In recent years, PanyuDistrict’s economic and social rapid development, especially in the Asian Games Town,Guangzhou City, the new train station, ship, GAC and transnational Industrial Park and other keyprojects, will have a greater impact on the environment. Especially as the main support of waterresources, is facing great pressure.At present, the development and utilization of water resources in Panyu Districtand water environment governance mainly has the following problems:1, waterenvironment pollution is becoming more and more serious, causing water shortage;2,the dry season salt water intrusion is serious, local area water supply safety can not beguaranteed;3, water-saving measures are inadequate, waste of water resources isserious;4, the lack of water resources the unified management and reasonablescheduling;5, part of the enterprise production sewage discharge standards do notexist, steal row phenomenon, serious pollution of river water quality;6, source ofwater resources and water environment supervision should be strengthened.In view of the above question, need to strengthen the management of waterresources of Panyu District, protection, allocation and scheduling work, and many ofPanyu District River, river is an important object of development and protection ofwater resources, therefore to strengthen the management and protection of waterresources in the area of the important work is the priority among priorities. Therefore,the area of inland river water quality monitoring effective, accurate, timely grasp thesituation of water quality, to study the regularity and characteristic analysis, has thevital significance and the value of Panyu District water resources management anddevelopment, is strengthening the management of water resources, protection,allocation and scheduling of conditions and technical support, is the new requestPanyu District’s economic and social development and the work of waterconservancy.In2006the government promulgated the "Guangdong Province in the nationaleconomic and social development in the Eleventh Five Year Plan"(Yuefu No. [2006]46),"Guangdong Province" eleven five "integrated water resources planning"(Yuefu do no.[2007]98) and other related policy documents, in response to the abovedocuments spirit, but also for the practical strengthen the management of waterresources of Panyu District construction, combined with the situation in PanyuDistrict to make the project proposal.From the point of view of the management of water resources, water quality andwater interaction, the impact on the development and utilization of water resourcesand river ecological environment is equally important. So the construction of theautomatic monitoring system in order to change the previous hydrometric station andwater quality testing station separation condition, hydrological coupling water qualitymonitoring point.Panyu District water authority will be in accordance with the "unified planning,grading management" principle, on the basis of conventional hydrological and waterquality monitoring, hydrological and water quality of new meet the Department ofwater administration required in regional water resources utilization, protection andmanagement of automatic monitoring stations and the corresponding water qualityautomatic monitoring platform construction. Water quality automatic monitoringsystem put into operation, water quality monitoring data to the relevant departmentsto open, to realize information sharing. The program focuses on automatic monitoringsystem in Panyu District water quality were preliminary design research, including theconstruction of water quality automatic monitoring stations, mobile monitoring stationconstruction, monitoring center construction, ability and other aspects of security. Inthis article, the purpose is to build A complete, practical, the water quality of PanyuDistrict advanced automatic monitoring platform, to strengthen the Panyu Districtriver pollution remediation management means, is of great significance and provide ascientific basis for the future economic development of the district planning.
