There are many kinds of carbon fiber oil agent, they can be divided into twokinds from the raw material: organic non-silicone series of oil agent and siliconeseries of oil agent. But during the using of high silicone series of oil agent, it is easy toform a trace amount of SiC, SiOx and other silicides, at the same time, organicnon-silicone series of oil agent has poor temperature resistance, so the looking for lowsilicon type of oil agent is that people care about. Ester-modified silicone oil is a lowsilicon type oil agent, it has many advantages, such as good lubricity and waterrepellency and abrasion resistance and affinity for organic material, which leads to itsemulsion not only has a wide application in the lubricant aspects and cosmeticindustry, but also relates to a coating additives, defoamers, and many other areas. But,water-insoluble ester-modified silicone oil can not be directly applied and it is need tofirstly emulsified to prepare a stable emulsion which can be applied. Andester-modified silicone oil is an organic silane, we know the siloxane of organic silaneis lively, which can occur some chemical reactions, it not only can occur hydrolysiscondensation reaction to form a superhydrophobic coating having a micronanostructure and is also for modifying the surface of the material to preparesuperhydrophobic material with monolayer structure. These coating or surfaces have arelatively low surface energy (23dyn/cm), and they also have many features resistantto oxidation and radiation and so on, is very environmentally friendly, so they aregood raw materials for preparing a superhydrophobic surface. In recent years, super-hydrophobic surfaces with the WCAgreater than150°attract more and more attention, and their preparation methods are also diverse, such as self-assembly technique, phaseseparation and sol-gel method and so on. For these techniques, some steps arecomplicated and higher costs, especially they are restricted in terms of super-hydrophobic surface preparation of large area. Relative to these techniques, the advantages of electrospinning technique are simple, convenient, and low cost, largearea superhydrophobic surfaces can also be prepared. In this paper, firstly the synthesis of2-(allyloxymethyl)-2-ethylpropane-1,3-diyldioctanoate(AEDD) was by chloride method, and this ester are characterization by IRand NMR spectrum; scendly the synthetic of ester-modified silicone oil was byhydrosilylation reaction between ester(AEDD) and low hydrogen silicone oil. Thenwe emulsified the ester modified silicone oil and successfully obtained a stableemulsion, also explored the most appropriate synthesis conditions of ester modifiedsilicone oil: the optimum amount of the reaction solvent is35%of the total mass; theoptimal molar ratio of ester: low hydrogen silicone oil is1.1:1; the suitable reactiontemperature is100°C; the suitable reaction time is6h; the optimum amount of catalystis4%of total quality. Finally, because of the ester-modified silicone oil withhydrophobic, we successfully incorporated ester modified silicone oil into thepolystyrene(PS) film by electrospinning method and obtain modified PS membranes. The magnification SEM pictures indicate some of the synthetic EMSO was dispersedon the surface of fibers then successfully play an important function of creating atwo-level surface roughness on the membrane surface, which leads to the WAC ofmodified PS membranes can be reached to152±0.2°,so that the composite film hassuperhydrophobicity.
