To save energy has been our national policy, and it is also necessary for China’s economic sustainable development. Plastic industry is an important part of national economy, at the same time it is also a newly developing industrial system with strong comprehensiveness. With the plastic industry’s rapid development, plastic products has been used in more and more fields, so plastic processing equipment becomes an important part of mechanical industries in China. Manufacturing of plastic processing equipment is given more and more attention, and injection molding machine is one of plastic processing equipments which has very extensive application. Study of new type’s injection molding machine system with high efficiency and energy saving naturally becomes the target of enterprises. After reading and analysing a large number of domestic and foreign literatures, this paper has a detailed study in key technologies such as injection molding system, screw which is a key component of the injection system, hydraulic system, electrical control system and clamping system of injection molding machine. The main research content of the dissertation involves:(1) State the studying background of the dissertation, development background of injection molding machine’s energy saving and emission reduction and research situation of injection molding machine’s new energy-saving technology in our country, research status of injection molding machine at home and abroad and the purpose and significance of the dissertation.(2) Research of the injection molding system, according to the injection molding machine’s basic principle and simulation analysis of screw parameters impact on plasticizing and energy consumption of injection molding machine, the dissertation studies the screw’s geometric parameters and injection molding process parameter’s impact on the plasticizing system of the machine. It does mathematical modeling and orthogonal experiment analysis of screw according to the characteristics of the screw plasticization and parameters to get the degree of screw parameter’s impact on the plasticizing quality indicators of injection molding machine and the optimum design of the screw parameters.(3) Cylinder heating technology research, optimize cylinder heating scheme design of injection molding machine, converted electricity directly into heat energy according to electromagnetic induction principle, coil winding on the inner wall of the barrel is hot after electrifies, at the same time, barrel lining produce eddy current due to electromagnetic induction principle, so cylinder is heated up quickly and automaticly and it is also heated efficiently and energy-saving.(4) Research of injection molding machine’s energy-saving hydraulic system and control system, modeling and simulation analysis of injection molding machine hydraulic system by AMESim software, confirmed this subject adopts the new energy-saving hydraulic system with "variable pump+PQ valve+energy adjustment unit". With PLC controller as additional controller to allocate system’s energy supply and demand.(5) Research of injection molding machine’s clamping system, analytical calculation of clamping system, establishes kinematics model and equivalent load model of the clamping mechanism. Movement and mechanical characteristics analysis of injection molding machine’s clamping mechanism combining with the mechanisms and studying automatic tuning device of clamping mechanism detailedly.
