Ceramic ink-jet printing technology is a kind of non-contact digital printing technology in recent years. Compared with other printing technologies, it has many advantages, such as products" vivid and exquisite, realize the personalized products design and manufacture quickly, high degree of automation, etc. So it is getting high attention by domestic ceramic industry in the field of ceramic decoration. The key to application of this technology is development of the ceramic ink. So far. domestic ceramic ink has basically realized industrialized production, also has been gaining market share rapidly. But these ceramic ink almost is given priority to with oily and its solvent are all imported that have great harm to human body and the environment. Therefore, in order to speed up the development of environmentally-friendly ceramic ink will have important significance for ceramics decoration industry.The experiment prepared ceramics decoration ink by grinding dispersion method. Then optimizing grinding process. The grinding process optimizing results show that:the sanding-ball milling dispersion of ball mill grinding, under the condition that grinding media is zirconia beads (0.4-0.6mm), grinding time is5h, ball material ratio is3.5and rotating speed is500RPM. the grinding effect of paste is higher.The experiment researched the influence of selection of ceramic pigment and dosage, solvent system, dispersant system, and other additives on the properties of ceramic ink. Because smaller particle size of spinel crystal structure pigment have stable chromogenic reaction, high temperature stability and good chemical stability, is suitable for the preparation of ceramic ink. Under the condition that solid content of pigment is35wt%. the preparation of ceramic ink with good performance. Grinding efficiency is highest and the preparation of the ink performance is better when solvent used mixed solvent of propylene glycol and diethylene glycol.that the ratio is2:1, dosage is15-20wt%. When used the Complex anionic dispersant A and its dosage was7.0wt%. efficiency in the disperse is highest. Through the granulometer. average diameter of suspension is234ran. maximum diameter is about800nm. The acrvlic resin is selected which is a kind of modified of styrene.and the dosage is5.0wt%; Wetting agent choose the nonionic alkyl polyglycol ether, and its dosage of0.5wt%;This study based on a correct understanding of the structure and stability mechanism of ceramic ink, examines the particle size, viscosity, temperature and pH value on the effect on the stability of the ceramic ink, and analyse ways of improving the stability of ceramic ink.
