At present,most of the silver ink on the market are solvent-based ink,while water-based silver ink is rarely used and has poor dispersion stability.Therefore,the research and development of water-based gravure ink is an inevitable trend,which is a new type of green printing consumables with great development prospects and market potential.Based on the above background,this paper focused on the main problem of poor dispersion stability of water-based gravure silver ink at the present stage,and conducted experiments from various factors affecting the dispersion of water-based gravure silver ink.The influence of the type of aluminum silver paste,grinding resin and its corresponding pigment-to-base ratio and dispersant on the dispersion of water-based gravure silver ink were studied.Finally,the performance optimization experiment of water-based gravure silver ink was carried out by adjusting the content of film-forming resin and auxiliaries.Firstly,the dispersion stability of water-based gravure silver ink was studied from the three aspects of the type of aluminum silver paste,grinding resin and its corresponding base ratio,dispersant ratio and content.The best performance of aluminium silver pasta was determined by measuring the size of the paste for one month.The optimum proportion and content of dispersant were determined by the formula experiment of four gravity centers.Through testing the particle size of water-based gravure silver ink color paste,it was finally determined that DZR05 aluminum silver paste and AZR grinding resin were used,the base ratio was 2:3,the ratio of 760 dispersant to 3200 dispersant was 2:3,when the content was 5%,the dispersion stability of the color paste was the best.Then by changing the formulation of film-forming resin,the printing properties of water-based gravure silver ink such as particle size,viscosity,surface tension,adhesion,drying speed,leveling and apparent properties were optimized.The experiment was carried out in three aspects: the ratio of color paste to film-forming resin,the type of film-forming resin and the ratio of film-forming resin.The printing performance of silver ink was tested by preparing silver ink.The test results showed that when QD9009 film-forming resin was used alone,the ratio of color paste to film forming resin was 5:6,the printing performance of water-based gravure silver ink was the best.Finally,the content of defoamer and leveling agent was adjusted,and the particle size and surface tension of silver ink were tested to optimize the experiment,the experiment results showed that when the defoamer content was 3%,the wetting effect of water-based gravure silver ink was the best,and the properties of the prepared silver ink were the best.
