With the increasingly fierce market competition, demand pattern changes from QP to TQCSE, enterprise workshops must have flexible production, rapid response capability of the market as while as ensuring the quality of products. And with the wide using of information technology, Internet of Things (IOT) and MES in the field of manufacturing, enterprises’production paradigm gradually change from a closed, local, and extensive mode to an open, transparent, collaborative and lean production paradigm. This paper summarizes and analyzes the current status of the development of information technology and heat treatment production characteristics, and then research on the networking technology, MES, scheduling techniques, then puts forward a set of Information System with workshops manufacturing model for the heat treatment industry-based on material networked intelligent manufacturing workshop. This paper focus on, thermal processing technology developed, production scheduling, real-time monitoring and control, and do systematic research on these critical issues and related technologies. The main contents of this paper are as follows:1. With the research on the current heat treatment’s business processes, production characteristics and information status, and combining with information technology, networking technology, this paper put forward and designed a Intelligent System with Four layer for Heat Treatment under the IOT.2. Unique heat treatment technology is one of the key factors for an invincible position in the market competition, which directly affects the quality of the product, and the company’s production efficiency. For current heat treatment companies more dependent on the experience of craft production guidance, and then due to lack of experience resulted in the production process rework frequent raw material waste materials, untimely treatment to other issues. This paper research on the Web-based Expert Systems, and then puts forward a Web-based Craft Making Expert Systems. The design of knowledge base chooses using DBMS, which can do concurrent operation, and is with tolerance of data fault, security, have Web services function; Inference engine adapt distance-weight reasoning strategies, which calculate the distance between the library case and given problem, then get the reasoning conclusion. Through a Web browser management can interact with the expert system to automatic formulation with process information based on input (material, technical requirements, etc.), to analyze the process by which the production process consulting subsystem exception of material handling, and can be production process actual case of process optimization expert system knowledge base.3. Heat treatment is typical discrete manufacturing enterprises, and the current low level of equipment automation and information in heat treatment production, more dependent on the consciousness of the production process operator, and equipment’s environmental parameters during processing directly affects the quality of the product, but also basic support scheduling. Therefore, real-time monitoring and control of the production process is necessary. Against the current status of the actual heat treatment automation and information, this paper proposed using of RFID technology, intelligent sensing, Ethernet intelligent to modify the production equipment and using WSRF to mesh package, through the network’s real-time information and notification mechanism of grid resources, to achieve real-time monitoring of the production process and to push exception message.4. In order to meet the market’s demand of flexible production and rapid response capability, research on heat treatment shop’s scheduling characteristics, and multi-objective scheduling problem, proposed an improved multi-objective optimization based on preference particle swarm (IPMOPSO). Representation In the algorithm, use non-precision preference information values to avoid the search area is too small, premature convergence to local optima solution and other issues, and propose a simulation " the legislative process to consider voting " way to deal with preference information, and then the strong order "Pareto domination" solution set preferences and decision makers prefer a combination of information generated groups in improving the efficiency of the search algorithm, while making the solution towards regional development policy makers interested groups, in order to make quick decisions in response to market. Finally, through simulation comparing with other multi-objective scheduling algorithm, the simulation result shows the effectiveness and feasibility of the algorithm.5. Designed and developed a prototype MES under Internet, and then introduce some main functions of the system, at last introduce the actual use of the system in one heat treatment companies.
